UT Austin sponsors Apple Developer programs for the creation of iOS applications which will be distributed publicly or through endpoint management platforms. Program participation is extended to qualified UT Austin staff only after app function and design proposals have been formally approved.
Develop and publish iOS apps to external or internal customers
Available at no cost to current faculty and staff with approved design proposals.
Routine requests are typically addressed within one business day. UT Service Desk staff may escalate requests as needed.

The Apple Developer Enterprise Program allows large organizations to develop and deploy proprietary, internal-use apps to their employees. This program is for specific use cases that require private distribution directly to employees using secure internal systems or through a Mobile Device Management solution.

Google Play is a digital distribution service operated and developed by Google. It serves as the official app store for certified devices running on the Android operating system and its derivatives as well as Chrome OS, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android software development kit (SDK) and published through Google.
